Type: Beach

Visitors continue to enjoy this coastal retreat which is situated just four miles north of the bright lights of Blackpool, especially since the award-winning £20 million renovation of Cleveleys’ Seafront. The sweeping coastline and eye catching promenade remain an unspoilt attraction for all to enjoy. Recently receiving a Quality Coast Award, Cleveleys beach is the perfect place to spend a family day out. Enjoy a walk along the promenade with seating dotted at some great places to enjoy the view and take in the fresh sea air.

Famous for its miles of sand and sea, which not only attract a myriad of wildlife and migrating birds, Cleveleys beach is also perfect for kite flying and sandcastle building - ensuring its appeal to all ages.

Watch out for the new Mythic Coastline - a series of sculptures and interpretative art set to appear along the promenade to bring to life a new illustrated book by children's author Gareth Thompson.

Just a few minutes away from the bustling town centre, there are plenty of nearby traditional sea side and high street shops and lots of places to grab a bite to eat.

Across the road there’s the popular Jubilee Gardens which boasts a children’s play area, grassland areas, a multi-use games area and skate park for youngsters to enjoy.
