Welcome to Fleetwood
Thinking about travelling to see your team take on League One newcomers Fleetwood Town FC?
Stop thinking and get it in the diary. Bring the family for a day out or extend your stay - there's loads to do without leaving the town and even more on the doorstep. Here's just a few ideas - and if you like the sound of that, we've also got some info on the best places to lay your head at night..
Oh we do like to be beside the seaside
Yes - we have sand and plenty of it. Grab your bucket and spade and enjoy beautiful views across Morecambe Bay. There's plenty of kiosks for refreshments, including the obligatory ice cream, plus children's play areas, paddling pool, a stunning lake, picnic benches and more all part of a leisurely seafront stroll.
Want to really feel the wind in your hair? Then a whole range of packages are available for spending time at sea and you can even take the helm yourself. Visit the Atlas Sailing website for more details.
And at the end of your seaside stroll, you'll also find a very unusual building. Rossall Point observation tower lets you see for miles around with free binoculars available on three viewing decks and expert advice from our countryside rangers on some of the wildlife you might see.
Shop till you drop
Freeport is a can't-miss shopping outlet with 45 famous name stores offering up to 60% off. There's a fantastic range of men’s, women’s and children’s fashions and footwear, plus gifts, homeware, cosmetics and accessories all at amazingly low prices. And set right alongside a marina. Fleetwood indoor Market has hundreds of stalls in the heart of the town centre offering a more traditonal shopping experience.
Plus our high street has a real mix of independent shops and household names.
Let us entertain you
Fleetwood boasts a stunning art deco theatre - Marine Hall - hosting all kinds of acts from big name bands and top tributes to stand-ups and kids shows. Is there something on the same day as your fixture? Check our online What's On listings to find out.
Sporting Life

For something a bit less competitive, why not try the 18-hole pitch and putt or crazy golf course on Marine Gardens.
Animal Magic
A sure-fire hit with all ages, Farmer Parrs Animal World is an award-winning visitor centre boasting 12 acres of rare breeds and exotic species, plus tea room, shop, outdoor play area, train rides and large indoor barns. Paint a pot in the pottery or take a walk down memory lane in the extensive country life museum. More details on their official website.
