*New for 2012* This year there is a 10k run on Sun 6 May as part of the Bikes & Barrows Festival. Check out their website for details.

The 2012 event will include a live jazz, a fun family cycle ride, Lancashire food and craft fair, Spring Fair and cream teas in the village hall, Scorton’s Rose Queen day with games and stalls on the playing field, a challenging cycle ride, special gardeners question time, a 10k run, treasure hunt, entertaining wheelbarrow racing, open gardens and tours of the village church and many decorated bicycles and wheelbarrows to seek out around the village.
