Situated in the picturesque village of Scorton, The Priory provides 8 en-suite quest rooms, together with a popular restaurant, public house and tea room.

The guest rooms are decorated and finished individually to a very high standard. All rooms have tea and coffee making facilities along with televisions and free wi-fi internet access.

The public house serves a fine selection of beers, wines and spirits from Bowland brewery and Daniel Thwaites. From breakfast at 07.30 and through to dinner until 21.00, The Priory serves a full and varied menu throughout the day and caters for all appetites from teas and snacks to full 3 course dinner.

Among the favourites are Priory Hotpot, locally sourced Full English Breakfast and our fine selction of afternoon and cream teas. A full range of free information is also available for visitors to find out about the local area.

Road Directions

From the South - M6 (J32) follow A6 north past Garstang. Follow the brown sign 1 mile north of Garstang and take a right turn into Gubberford Lane. Follow this for 1.5 miles to the centre of the village.
From the North - M6 (J33) follow A6 4 miles. Follow the brown sign and turn left into Station Lane.. Go over the river and under the railway. After 1 mile you arrive in the centre of Scorton.

Public Transport Directions

Main line railway stations at Preston or Lancaster. Then from the respective bus stations bus number 40 or 41 to Cabus Nooik Lane. Walk down Station Lane (opposite Cabus Nook Lane) to the centre of Scorton Nook.
