Ceramic artist Louise Woods is using the ten-sided Mount as a base to make ‘Ten tales, ten journeys’. She’ll be working with schools and community groups to make ten hand-sized clay sculptures that reflect Fleetwood’s history, each of which will go on a journey. During April and May she’ll be holding drop-ins and activity days to hear your stories and explain what she’s making. You can make a ‘memory token’ to take home with you too. She’s also looking for a group of ten adults to work on the pieces and to learn some skills in shaping and firing clay objects.
