Just a hop skip and a jump from Poulton's market square lies just under 3 hectares of peace and quiet. Not to forget though the children's playground, the multi use games area and bowling green, or just to sit and enjoy the urban wildlife.
The park, originally founded in 1926 was in memory of Jean who died at the age of ten.
Mr & Mrs Stansfield always intended the park to be a place for children, a stance still strong today with recently refurbished childrens playground, multi use games area, youth shelter but not forgetting bowling green.
