Blackpool Transport and its event partners are putting on an packed programme of events to commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Blackpool Tramway. No less than ten visiting vintage trams will be coming from museums around the country to join the vintage tram collections of Blackpool Transport and the Lancastrian Transport Trust. Full details are still being developed and everything is 'subject to availability' as usual but outline plans are:

Thursday 23rd: Welcome Evening at a private suite at Uncle Tom's Cabin including Hot Pot Supper - fun tramway quiz and a background to the week's events.

Friday 24th: Enthusiast Tramway Events - full programme to be advised

Saturday 25th: Timetabled vintage tram service from Pleasure Beach to Cleveleys using visiting and residential visiting trams. Evening events to be confirmed

Sunday 26th: Depot Open Day with vintage shuttle service to North Pier and Bispham; plus timetabled vintage tram service from Pleasure Beach to Cleveleys

Monday 27th: Enthusiast Tramway Events - full programme to be advised

Tuesday 28th: Enthusiast Tramway Events - full programme to be advised

Wednesday 29th: Tram Parade and Anniversary Dinner.
