Bringing Fish to Fleetwood
8th November 2011
Categories: Latest News
There’s a new kind of ‘Fish’ coming to Fleetwood this month in the form of Marillion former frontman who’s bringing his sell out tour to Marine Hall on Sunday 27 November.
The rock giant, aka Derek Dick, has a career that spans 30 years since joining Marillion with a solo career that is built on his already solid reputation as a singer and songwriter. His first visit to Fleetwood as part of the Fish Heads Acoustic Tour sees Fish join forces in an unplugged trip, with Foss Paterson on keyboards and Frank Usher on guitar, which has captured the imagination of his fans across Europe.
The deconstruction of songs from the Marillion era like Fugazi, Incubus and Jigsaw stand well together with classics like Kayleigh and Lavender, while the solo years are represented with State of Mind, A Gentleman’s Excuse Me and the epic Vigil amongst many more.
A charismatic stage performance and uncompromising lyrics together with Fish’s anecdotes create a fascinating and rewarding evening of entertainment not to be missed!
The show starts at 8pm. Tickets are £17.50 and are available from the box office at Marine Hall – 01253 887693 or you can buy tickets online here...
