Visitors to Visit Garstang Tourist Information Centre on 28 October had a surprise when they were welcomed by Wyre Council's Chief Executive Garry Payne.

Garry spent an enjoyable and informative morning working at Visit Garstang and met local residents and visitors to the district. It was an opportunity for Garry to see first hand the centre's role as a community hub and tourism facility. He also met Visit Garstang assistant Beverley Lamb and learned about the Wyre Tourism Association, tourism development and delivery across the borough.
