The Open Championship returns to Lytham St Annes in 2012 on the 15th until the 22nd July. This will attract many big players and visitors to Lytham St Annes.
In 2012, the biennial Junior Open Championship will accompany The Open Championship to Lancashire. The world’s best will prepare to mount an assault on the Claret Jug in Lytham St. Annes, while the juniors will get underway at Fairhaven Golf Club. 16 – 18 July 2012
The open was last here in 2001 where it attracted large amounts of people to see it. This gives Lytham St Annes a wonderful opportunity to showcase the county's natural beauty before a worldwide audience.
