As well as lots of cute animals, Blackpool Zoo has also been the home for aircrafts. Between 1929 and 1947, a site now known as Blackpool Zoo housed an airfield which was used by both civil and military aircraft. Come along on an Heritage Open Day tour were you will learn about the sites history and visit the remaining hangers and control tower.
