Blackpool joins together to celebrate, honour and unite Britain's Armed Forces past, present and future. Attending the service will be veterans, cadets and serving military. The RAF Spitfire will make a flypast. Everyone is welcome.

Following extensive restoration of Blackpool's Cenotaph carried out over the past two years, a Service of Celebration will be held incorportating the "Choir Loft" which was opened by HRH The Duchess of Cornwall at the 2008 National Armed Forces' Day event. Attending the service will be veterans, cadets, serving military and the general public. Everyone is welcome.

Following the Sunday morning service Blackpool invites members of the Armed Forces, veterans and cadets to join in the short parade along the promenade.

Friends and family are invited to line the route and cheer and wave their Union Flags.
